Happy Easter!
In anticipation of Easter, I thought a little frivolity was in order.
A few years ago, I worked on a project that was my first attempt to use Blender's hair system to create 'believable' hair. (For me, 'believable' is any step above randomly changing the default settings and hoping for the best!) I attempted to recreate Da Vinci's Last Supper. I was fairly proud of how the hair turned out. There was an obvious learning curve and the result is certainly no Mona Lisa (a little art pun for the cultured among you :0 ), but all forward motion is progress!
Once I was complete with the Last Supper, and apparently slightly sleep deprived, I created a behind-the-scenes image. For the purists among you, don't bother to send me nasty notes explaining everything wrong with the image. I know it isn't historically accurate; Leonardo (as his friends refer to him) was obviously left-handed, but that ruined my composition. In that case, I took some artistic license. Other than that, through exhaustive research, I can guarantee the image is accurate to the smallest detail!
For those of you who celebrate it, I hope you have a blessed and Happy Easter!
