Publish or Perish - Chapter 2

Library Banner

Despite having other items which I would like to get done, I am making an honest effort to publish something to Sketchfab each month.  This month, I did a quick interior home office/library model.  I used some great props available on BlendSwap (credits for the props are included in the Sketchfab description) that helped minimize the tangents on which I wandered.  One Day At A Time success for Lesson Learned #1!

The new model is available here.  The major learning event for this exercise was figuring out how to get blender procedural textures into Sketchfab.  I had heard about baking texture in Blender, but never really paid much attention.  It turns out, you can create an image file, UV unwrap the asset and create a image texture, even for procedural textures!  Who knew?
